Christmas is here!? - London Day

Hello all!

Back again with another blog post about such a fun day I had in Central London with my university friend Meg... she's great, I've linked her Youtube channel here.

So we decided to take a day trip to London, after several failed attempts of trying to wake up we finally got on the tube and made our way to Knightsbridge to our first stop, Harrods!

Meg had never been to Harrods, so naturally I was like "we HAVE to go" and I am so glad we went.
The beautiful outside of Harrods!
We headed straight for the MAC counter, as this was the first thing we saw at the entrance we took. I could have bought soooo much stuff, but I have 'Velvet Teddy' lipstick coming in the post so limited myself to buying just the one item. I went with the 'Beaming Blush' highlighter. I'm not entirely sure if this is new, but it was recommended to me by my good friend Chloe (I've linked her instagram here) and we are such bad influences on each other when it comes to buying makeup!
Here's a picture of it below, it's such a pretty pink-golden highlight that I will most definitely get use out of!

My all-time favourite part of Harrods has to be the Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed memorial, so beautiful. And also, much to my delight, they have opened a CHRISTMAS (!!) world with all kinds of overpriced decorations, and it is unreal!

We then headed over to Waterloo, where we purchased tickets to go on the London Eye, I have been lucky enough to go on this several times, but it never gets old! We were shocked to have realised we picked the perfect night, fireworks night. Due to the quality of my iPhone I couldn't capture pictures of the fireworks as they were so distant, but they literally covered the London skyline, and it was amazing!!

Big Ben and The Thames

The day came to and end with selfies by Big Ben and heading over to ChinaTown for an 'all you can eat' buffet where we literally died because we took too much food and then panicked because the menu said a charge incurs for wasted food. So I ate my chow mein like there was no tomorrow! I was exhausted to finally get back to university at around 11pm but had the BEST day!

Thank you for reading!

Feeling festive with my Costa hot choc, big winter coat, and standing by the lights outside of Harrods!
