MAKEUP COLLECTION & STORAGE

Following my uni room tour post which went live on my blog 3 weeks ago, I knew that I wanted to do a makeup collection post also. These kind of posts always get the most attention and readership on my blog and it is easy to see why! I love viewing peoples makeup collections as well.

My collection isn't the biggest, but it is definitely enough for me. However there are still millions of things I want! I love the way my makeup is organised in my university room and I can see where everything is.

Here is an insight to my collection and my favourite bits...

Here is what my desk area looks like and a view of where I get ready. My acrylic drawers are from Beautify on Amazon. I love them so much as they allow me so much space, however I am starting to think I need new ones for more storage.

On top of my drawers I keep my lipstick holder and a couple of beauty blenders. I also keep my mermaid silisponge from Primark, my No7 brush cleaner and my Tweezerman tweezers.

Lipstick Holder:

These are the products kept in my lipstick holder. Two of my favourites are my Mac Velvet Teddy lipstick and my Jeffree Star liquid lipstick in the shade Androgyny.

Drawer 1:

My top drawer contrains a lot of foundations that I use, but less often than the foundation I wear daily. I also have a primer, BB cream and concealers in this drawer too. I love the Lock It foundation by Kat Von D, and usually use that for nights out!

Drawer 2:

Drawer number 2 is primers, illuminators and concealers. Collection's lasting perfection concealer steals the show every time for me- so much I have 7, as do Rimmel's primers.

Drawer 3:

This drawer is full of pretty compacts. I love my Mac highlighter in the shade Beaming Blush. The NYX bronzer 'When Leopard Gets a Tan' is one of those pieces I just love to look at!

Drawer 4:

The fourth drawer is a pretty hectic one! Mostly all of my eye products are in this drawer. I'll break it down into sections:

I absolutely love the dipbrow pomade by Anastasia Beverly Hills. These MUA eyeshadow singles I have are insanely pigmented and I should use them more- they were only £1 each! The No7 pot is a gel liner which I love but rarely use, it is handy to have though for different looks!

These are my mascaras. Probably a lot more than I actually need! My current favourites are Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir and Benefit Roller Lash mascara. I am also looking forward to trying Tanya Burr's new selfie lash which I have but forgot to photograph!

I have quite a few liquid and pencil liners. My favourite liquid liner of all time is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I also love the NYX Wonder Pencil to use on the waterline as it really wakes your eyes up.

Here are the few eyebrow products and 1 eyeshadow primer I have. I don't use eyeshadow I just conceal my eyelids and set them with powder as a base. However, the Sleek eyebrow pencil I own is my favourite brow product. I also LOVE my Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip Brow Pomade, which I pictured with my eyeshadows for some reason.

Drawer 5:

Some more of my lip products live in this drawer. The NYX liquid suede formula is so amazing. I also love the 1 Kylie Lip Kit I own in the shade Posie K. Mac's Spice lip liner something I use really regularly. I keep a lot of other lip products here that I love and use often also.

Drawer 6:

The bottom drawer in my set up is a lot of my favourite products. I have some face powders: Rimmel Stay Matte, No7 Airbrush Away Powder, Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder and Chanel Les Beiges Powder. I then have my two favourite bronzers which are Hoola by Benefit and NARS Laguna Bronzer. There is my Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette, two Kiko highlighters, Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm and a NYX Illuminator.

The rest of my collection is made up of different pieces of acrylic storage. I have a little holder that holds my NYX eyeshadows, 3 acrylic square boxes stacked on top of each other and some brush holders. I also have a lipstick holder with my nail polishes and NYX lip products.

But first here is my palette drawer...

 and here are my palettes...

Morphe 35K, Soap and Glory- The Perfect Ten, French Connection- The Eyes Have It, Next Make Me Beautiful- Perfect Eye Palette

Too Faced- Sweet Peach Palette

Next Palette (again), Tanya Burr- Enchanted Dream, Bobbi Brown- Smokey Warm Eye, Sleek Diamonds In The Rough

Collection- Conceal and Light Like A Pro, Sleek- Oh So Special, Sleek- Vintage Romance, Limited Collection Face Palette.

Nip&Fab Travel Palette, NYX- Highlight and Contour Palette

ABH- Modern Renaissance Palette, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Sleek- All Night Long Mini

Makeup Revolution X Sophdoesnails Highlight Palette and Eyeshadow Palette

NYX- Ultimate Brights Palette

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit- Surreal Light

Out of my palette collection, my favourites for eyes are my Sweet Peach, Modern Renaissance (all time favourite) and the Soph for Makeup Revolution Palette. I love my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette in Surreal Light pictured above for the face, and at £69 for the product, it is the most expensive product in my collection by far.

Brushes and more makeup...

My brushes come from all different brands, I keep them in this Zoeva Brush holder and this sparkly pot that was once a toothbrush holder from Wilko. In the sparky pot I like to keep my favourite/most used brushes. My brushes are from all different brands such as Spectrum, Eco Tools, Real Techniques and Morphe, plus more.

Here is the other makeup in the acrylic storage container you can see above...

I love my double wear foundation so much I have the one I am using and a backup! I also really like the Nip&Fab Primer Water.

This is where I keep most of my glitters. I adore the Stila Magnificent Metals liquid eyeshadows they are so good!

Products I use less are in the bottom, a few Sleek face palettes and No7 blushers are there. However I do really like the NYX contour stick.

NYX single eyeshadows:

I don't use these all that much just because I find palettes so much more convenient. But I am now thinking I should definitely use these more!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams...

On the fire place in my room I keep this acrylic storage holder which holds all of my NYX Soft Matte lip creams which is my favourite formula by NYX. It also holds a Butter Gloss I own, an Intense Butter Gloss and a Velvet Kiss lip cream by Collection which I love! I also hold the few nail polishes I have bought with me to university here as well.

My favourite shades are Cannes and Rome.

Collection Velvet Kiss in the shade caramel is one of my most worn lip colours.

Miscellaneous...

Here are other things I keep as backup such as spare lashes and sponges. The Fleur de Force lashes by Eyelure are my go-to lashes and she is one of my favourite Youtubers.

THE END...

If you made it to the end... thank you SO much for reading and having a look into my makeup collection. I hope you enjoyed and let me know what you thought in the comments! I would love to hear if you think there are any more products I should try out!
