Regrettably, I have a lot to do which will fill my holiday up! What with working my part time job and deadlines due at the beginning of January, this is part of the reason I am not majorly looking forward to the Christmas break. (Read about me being a scrooge about Christmas here)!
Nevertheless, I packed my car and drove home from my university house today, and it is somewhat a relief to know that despite my deadlines and long shifts in retail ahead, I will be getting to spend the festive season surrounded by loved ones and that's got to be what Christmas is all about!
The things I am looking forward to such as quality time spent with family definitely outweigh the cons, and I will be sure to allow myself to have somewhat of a break!
I look forward to the day where I don't have to work and I can spend my Decembers baking and wandering round Christmas markets... a girl can dream right?!
How are you all spending your time in the lead up to Christmas?
