How to ACE your Valentine's present for her...

Valentine's... love it or hate it- there are a lot of couples who celebrate it! It can be a struggle to buy anyone a present, but I think that women are particularly hard to buy for.

One thing that couples should always remember is not to pile on the pressure when it comes to Valentine's. It is nice to celebrate your love together every day of the year rather than one day. It is also important not to go overboard on a present, especially if you are going to put yourself short of money. Your partner should love you for who you are and not your gifts!

Nevertheless, there are always going to be people who are happy to buy presents for their partner on Valentines, and that is completely fine. So if you want a little help with what to buy the woman in your life for Valentine's, look no further!

Whilst I will provide a variety of gift ideas ranging in prices, a top tip to always remember is that personalised gifts cost little to no money, but the meaning behind them is huge. A photo printed and framed would make a lovely gift, and shows that you have gone out of your way to put together a lovely present with a lot of meaning behind it.

Here are some of my picks...

Sass and Belle- ASOS- Valentine's Plaque- £3

This adorable heart plaque from Sass and Belle is proof that nice Valentines presents don't have to be expensive. For only £3 this is such a cute way to remind her you love her!

If she's a candle lover then I don't think you can go wrong with these gorgeous candles. They're so appropriate for Valentines as well! This brand of candles are such good quality and make such a nice crackling sound when they're burning!

Around Valentines, companies really bump up the prices of flowers, especially roses! It isn't really surprising that they do this, but at the same time you don't want to pay over the odds for some flowers. However, I found these on the Marks and Spencer website, and priced at £25 isn't too bad. For this price you get 12 red roses in a lovely gift bag, accompanied with chocolates. Considering some of their roses are being sold for £45 for 12, this is a much better deal.

Chocolates are a given at Valentines, but these ones are different and definitely gorgeous. Everyone knows that Hotel Chocolat is a lovely brand, and this is a really nice selection of chocolates. It is also really good value for money and I think this gift looks like it is more expensive than it is.

If you're looking to spend a little more money, this Pandora bracelet is a gorgeous way of getting a sentimental gift for the woman you love. Again, even at £50 it isn't too expensive for a nice piece of jewellery which I'm sure she will love.

There are loads of these pouches on the Katie Loxton website, and I really like them. They come in loads of different colours, with lots of different phrases on. This one says 'Hello Gorgeous' and is so cute! They can be used as bags on a night out or to keep inside a handbag. So cute!

If all else fails, you can't go wrong with her favourite perfume! Olympea by Paco Rabanne has got to be one of my favourites, and it also is a cult-favourite product, so maybe she would like this one! It helps especially if you know that she is running out of her favourite scent! However, there are a variety of different fragrances out there at all different price ranges.

If you're brave enough to buy her a bag, this is the cutest little bag on the market right now! It's only £22 and from Topshop. It would make a lovely Valentines gift.

Hopefully this blog post has given you some inspiration as to what to buy your partner for Valentine's Day. Me and my boyfriend usually don't buy each other presents, but spend the money on a day out together or a meal instead!
