Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I cannot believe the day came and went so fast! Every year on my blog I post a 'what I got for Christmas' blog post, as I really enjoy reading other posts of this kind, and they are fun to reflect on.

If you haven't read my 'what I got for Christmas' blog posts from 2017 and 2016, be sure to scroll back on my blog and read them.

This year I was so lucky to receive some truly amazing presents, and I love each and every one of them. I know this is a controversial kind of post, however I really love writing them and I hope my readers enjoy reading this post too!

Without further ado, here are some of the amazing presents I received.

Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer

This is, of course, my main present which was from my mum and dad. Ever since trying one of these out in the Champneys spa I went to, I have really wanted my own. Having pretty long and pretty thick hair, drying it is one of the most tedious tasks. The technology in the design of this hairdryer is insane, and I'm still fully to figure out how to use it to its best potential! I'm definitely considering writing a review of this on my blog in the new year, so keep an eye out for that. I am so thankful to have received this, as it is not cheap by any means. It is a lovely gift to receive as I would probably never spend the money on it myself.

Paco Rabanne Olympea Perfume 80ml

Paco Rabanne perfumes are my all time favourite, and I absolutely adore this scent. After running out of my last bottle, I really wanted a new one! This is the perfume I always get compliments on when wearing, because it is so strong and such a gorgeous scent. So I am really happy to have a bottle of this again!

Toshiba USB Hard Drive

You know you're getting old when you ask for a practical gift for Christmas- haha! I have needed one of these for the longest time, and being in my final year at university, it is really important that I have all of my work backed up in case anything happens to my laptop. I really cannot afford to be losing all the stuff I have been working on! This is so handy as it as 1TB of storage, and has backed up my whole MacBook only using 100GB of storage. I am really grateful to get this as it will be so useful.

Ted Baker Dressing Gown

Two of my favourite things combined- Ted Baker and a dressing gown! I love this gift from my parents so much. I was definitely in need of a new dressing gown as my other one was well worn and well loved! This one is sooooo soft and snuggly.

SkinnyDip Mickey Mouse Makeup Bag-

I absolutely adore anything SkinnyDip I think it's such a lovely brand, and was so happy to receive this make up bag from my parents. The plastic is so soft and the design is beautiful. It is a great size too and will be great for travelling.

Champneys Face Mask Collection-

If you know me well, you'll know I love a face mask! I had a similar set to this last year and it was so divine. I especially love the gel eye masks in this set, fab for if you need to wake up tired eyes!

I cannot believe I am actually writing this- but Charlie booked us a trip to go to Budapest in June! I am so excited and so lucky and thankful! Due to a lot of stuff happening in 2019, I don't think we'll get time to go on a holiday just the two of us, but now we have basically four days away together! I'm really happy that he has booked this for us and I know that it will be amazing. I will definitely be writing all about it on my blog!

Tommy Hilfiger Top-

From my brother Luke, I received this Tommy Hilfiger top that I had asked for. I am really into wearing long sleeved tops at the moment as it's too cold for t shirts. This one is so soft and I love the fact that it is long on the arms. I'm definitely going to get loads of wear out of this and am so happy to have been given it.

Benefit and Soap & Glory Makeup-

From Luke's girlfriend Lucy I received the loveliest gifts. She gave me three benefit miniature products, none of which I have tried before so I am really excited to use these! They also came in the cutest little Benefit stocking. She also gave me the Soap & Glory 'Flatter Box' which is full of makeup, including the mascara which I love from their brand! I'm so excited to try out all this new makeup!

Spectrum Brushes and Soap & Glory face mask set-

From my bestie Izzie, I received two gifts that I have had my eye on for the longest time- which goes to show how well she knows me! She gave me the mermaid spectrum brush set with five gorgeous brushes in. Spectrum brushes are amazing quality so I'm so happy to have new ones in my collection. She also gave me the 'mask force five' by Soap & Glory. I absolutely love their face masks and I am so happy to have received these!

DKNY Bobble Hat-

From my family friends Julie, Rob, Keely & Amelia, I received this beautiful DKNY black bobble hat. This will be great in the cold winter months, and especially if it snows! I love this and have never owned anything like it, so I am really excited to wear it!

Manhattan T-Shirt, Socks and Chocolates-

From my cousin Danni and her husband Ylli and my god daughter Diellza I was given this Manhattan slogan t shirt which I believe came from New Look. I love this because I love anything to do with New York, and I am constantly on the hunt for t-shirts that I can wear with jeans and a leather jacket so it is perfect! I love the fluffy socks also- they are definitely needed in winter!

Mink Lashes and Highlighter Palette-

My babe of a friend Colette got me the most gorgeous beauty presents for Christmas this year. She got me the PUR Highlighter palette which consists of three gorgeous shimmering shades. She also got me these cruelty free mink lashes, which are something I've never owned before! I'm really excited to try these out as I love false lashes.

Makeup bags & 2019 Diary-

From my family friends Annita, Steve, Matthew and Olivia, I got some lovely presents. They got me these two matching makeup bags covered in star designs. Stars are my favourite pattern and the size of the makeup bags are ideal. The big one fits so much stuff in, and the small one is perfect for brushes! They also gave me a 2019 diary, I really like the fact it is A4 sized as it will be great to use for my uni work and deadlines.

Topshop Gift Card & Hot Chocolate-

My uncle Richard kindly gave me a Topshop gift card and some Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate. I'm used to the instant cadburys stuff, so this will definitely be a nice change! I'm going to use the gift card to buy some jeans, as I really need a nice black pair.

River Island jacket, dress and long sleeved top-

Charlie's parents Liz and Andrew really spoilt me and bought me some absolutely gorgeous presents this year, and I love them all so much! They got me the most beautiful clothes from River Island- which has recently become my favourite shop to buy clothes from. One thing they got me was the most gorgeous cream faux leather fur jacket. I look at these jackets all the time in River Island and have always wanted one- so I am really happy to now own one. It is sooo soft! Not only this but they also got me a gorgeous zebra print dress, which is just my style! They also got me a long sleeved black top to go underneath it, and the pair match perfectly! They also gave me some bath fizzers, chocolate and a butterfly tea light holder- such lovely gifts!

Afternoon Tea for Two-

This year me and Charlie also received a joint present from his parents which was a 'Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two at 5 Grosvenor House, Park Lane'. We are both so thankful for this gift as it is something that we can do together. I will definitely be writing a blog post about this when we book it!

Morphe Brush Set, Chocolate Orange Palette and Lip Balm-

In Charlie's family we do a Secret Santa every year and Brogan (Charlie's brothers girlfriend) had me this year! She did fab getting me these Morphe eyeshadow brushes, along with the cutest Makeup Revolution palette ever and lip balm! I'm so excited to use the brushes, but they're so clean and fresh I can't bring myself to use them... does this happen to anyone else?! LOL. I love these presents from Brogan!

Gordon's Pink Gin gift set-

Muzah knows me too well as she bought me this Gordon's pink gin gift set this year for Christmas! I love the two glasses that it comes with they're so classy. Anyone who knows me well knows I loooove a pink gin!

Echo Falls- Girls Night In-

Chelsea bought me the cutest gift set called 'girl's night in' with a bottle of Rose, a glass and chocolates. I think I'll be saving this for before I go out on my birthday. I love the glass that comes in this set and I will be taking it to university with me when I go back in January!

I'm ending this post really hoping that I haven't forgotten anybody off the list! I also want to say a huge thank you to my Nanna for the money she gave me and the chocolate, my Uncle Roy and Donna for the money they gave me, Caroline and family for the money they gave me and my Great Auntie Daph for the Dove gift set she gave me! I am equally as thankful for each and every one of my gifts.

I am completely blown away by the kindness and generosity from my family and friends this Christmas. I hope you enjoyed reading what I got, as I have loved sharing it on my blog as I do each year.

Keep an eye out for birthday related content coming soon, as I turn 22 on the 3rd January!

All the best & a Happy New Year,

Love Holly xx
